1st International Conference AI-education2025
Artificial Intelligence and Innovation in Education: Ethical and Technological Dimensions
December 12–13, 2025

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
CONFERENCE INFORMATION

The rapid progress of Digital Technological Innovation is reshaping the landscape of education, lifelong learning, and professional skills both locally and globally. The integration of intelligent technologies into the educational process is not merely a technical development, but also a cultural, pedagogical, and value-driven challenge, highlighting Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a critical factor in restructuring learning through personalized pathways, predictive assessments, smart feedback, and new forms of educational support via virtual or robotic assistants. At the same time, however, these technologies raise pressing concerns about the ethical, deontological, bioethical, and legal dimensions of educational practice. Issues such as privacy and personal data protection, the analysis and management of large volumes of education and personal data, algorithmic bias, accessibility, and digital equity emerge with particular intensity in the international scientific dialogue.
Within this complex environment of global, European, and national change, the AI-education2025 conference aims to serve as a scientific bridge between technological innovation and critical educational theory, offering an interdisciplinary and international forum for reflection and exchange of best practices. The aim is not only to highlight the technical capabilities of new technologies but also to address their social impacts, the ethical and legal boundaries of their use, and the need for critically literate educators and active citizens who know how to handle them, assess challenges, and act responsibly in new environments.
At the same time, the conference is expected to serve as a fertile ground for critical reflection on the ethical, deontological, bioethical, and legal dimensions of integrating AI into education. It also seeks to highlight the need for transparency, accountability, data protection, accessibility, and the promotion of social justice within the framework of a human-centered digital transformation. Furthermore, it aims to empower educational communities by fostering digital literacy, technological education, and ethical awareness among academics, educators, students, and pupils.
AI-education2025 aspires to mark the beginning of an institutionalized framework for interdisciplinary and international dialogue on Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, and the Digital Transformation of education, the labour market, and society as a whole. It intends to provide a solid, lasting platform for scientific documentation, to enhance public debate on cutting-edge technologies, and to offer well-substantiated responses to critical issues concerning the application, purpose, and impact of Artificial Intelligence on learning processes, educational and labor policies, and social structures.
The 1st International Conference AI-education2025 will take place on December 12–13, 2025, at the International Hellenic University, Alexandria Campus, Sindos, Thessaloniki, Greece.
